Bradgate Sixth Form is based on the same site as Wreake Valley Academy and the Bradgate Education Partnership Trust offices and is accessed via the Sixth Form entrance opposite the main gates.
We have bespoke facilities with several large study and computer zones. There is a separate careers library, containing up to date information and booklets about choices for careers, apprenticeships and universities. There are rooms which can be booked by small groups of students if they wish to study collaboratively.
The social area is an important social hub where students can meet and relax before lessons begin, at break time, lunchtime and after lessons finish. There is a Coffee Bar within the social area serving hot and colds drinks and snacks with comfortable seating areas. Hot meals can be purchased from the main canteen based in the Academy building. We also have a games area and outdoor space.
The large library based in the Academy building, is one of the best in the county and Bradgate Sixth Form students have open access before, during the day and after lessons. In addition students have use of Faculty resources areas to use in their study periods.
Our facilities for sports are superb; there is a sports hall, gym and a 3G pitch. Our Sixth Form students are also eligible for discounted membership at the Charnwood Leisure Centre and Swimming Pool which is right next door.
